Passing by the Fabelei on a warm summer day, not far from the Akazienkiez in Schöneberg, at first glance you might expect just another one of the many cafés. However, a small sign reading "Cocktailbar" reveals the true essence of Fabelei. Unlike many other cocktail bars, the motto here is not "mystery is a charm", but the bar presents itself with large windows, inviting bright interiors and a spacious, cozy outdoor area. "No Speakeasy, no smoke, no bullshit" is stated on neon sign on the wall. A concept that works. If you happen to be there on a Thursday, try their Tartare. It’s probably the best in the city! Pair it with a Quarter Martini.
